Boot HTC One M9 Recovery Mode using Hardware Buttons

  1. Power off your phone.

  3. As soon as the new menu appears on the screen you should release keys.

  5. Now, choose Recovery Mode using the Volume Down button and select it using the Power button.

  6. As soon as the phone with the exclamtion piont appears on the screen hlod down Power button.
  7. Press and release volume up key while holding down the Power button.

Boot HTC One M9 into Recovery using ADB command

  1. First of all, install the HTC One M9 USB Driver and ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your Windows computer.
  2. Now, enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing, go to Settings → About Phone and tap on Build Number about 7-10 times.
  3. Connect your device to computer and open Command Prompt (CMD).
  4. Now, enter the below command in CMD to boot HTC One M9 into Recovery Mode.
    adb reboot recovery

Boot HTC One M9 into Fastboot Mode / Bootloader Mode

Below are the methods using which you can boot HTC One M9 into Bootloader Mode or Fastboot Mode.

Boot HTC One M9 Bootloader Mode/Fastboot Mode using Hardware Buttons

  1. Power off your Phone.

Boot HTC One M9 Bootloader Mode/Fastboot Mode using ADB command

  1. Assuming ADB and Fastboot Drivers and USB Drivers installed on your computer.
  2. Enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing, go to Settings → About Phone and tap on Build Number about 7-10 times.
  3. Connect your device to the computer using a USB cable and open Command Prompt (CMD).
  4. Enter the below command in the Command Prompt window.
    adb reboot bootloader

Boot HTC One M9 Download Mode

  1. Power off your Phone.

  3. Now, your phone should boot into Download Mode.HTC One M9 Recovery Mode and Fastboot Mode
  4. Now, choose Download Mode using the Volume buttons and select it using the Power button.
