HTC One X10 Recovery Mode allows a user to troubleshoot and fix problems with their device. HTC One X10 Fastboot Mode or Bootloader Mode is used to re-flash system partitions on the device. It is an alternative to the recovery mode but is more advanced. It helps to modify or write data directly to your device's flash memory.

HTC One X10 Bootloader Mode or Fastboot Mode can be used to unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, Philz, etc.), flash stock ROM, flash custom image files, and more.

HTC One X10 Download Mode allows users to flash ROM, Kernel, root packages (SuperSU), and perform system updates. It also helps restore the device to stock firmware from a custom firmware.

Boot HTC One X10 Recovery Mode using Hardware Buttons

  1. Power off your phone.

  3. As soon as the new menu appears on the screen you should release keys.

  5. Now, choose Recovery Mode using the Volume Down button and select it using the Power button.

  6. As soon as the phone with the exclamtion piont appears on the screen hlod down Power button.
  7. Press and release volume up key while holding down the Power button.

Boot HTC One X10 into Recovery using ADB command

  1. First of all, install the HTC One X10 USB Driver and ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your Windows computer.
  2. Now, enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing, go to Settings → About Phone and tap on Build Number about 7-10 times.
  3. Connect your device to computer and open Command Prompt (CMD).
  4. Now, enter the below command in CMD to boot HTC One X10 into Recovery Mode.
    adb reboot recovery

Boot HTC One X10 into Fastboot Mode / Bootloader Mode

Below are the methods using which you can boot HTC One X10 into Bootloader Mode or Fastboot Mode.

  1. Power off your Phone.

Boot HTC One X10 Bootloader Mode/Fastboot Mode using ADB command

  1. Assuming ADB and Fastboot Drivers and USB Drivers installed on your computer.
  2. Enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing, go to Settings → About Phone and tap on Build Number about 7-10 times.
  3. Connect your device to the computer using a USB cable and open Command Prompt (CMD).
  4. Enter the below command in the Command Prompt window.
    adb reboot bootloader

Boot HTC One X10 Download Mode

  1. Power off your Phone.

  4. Now, choose Download Mode using the Volume buttons and select it using the Power button.
