Below are the methods using which you can boot ZTE Z970 ZMax into Recovery Mode.

Boot ZTE Z970 ZMax Recovery Mode using Hardware Buttons

  1. First of all, power off your phone.
  2. Now, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together for a few seconds.ZTE Z970 ZMax Recovery Mode and Fastboot Mode
  3. Release the keys as soon as you see the ZTE logo and wait for few seconds.
  4. If the Android Bot with Red exclamation pops up, then press Power Button to enter Recovery Mode.

Boot ZTE Z970 ZMax into Recovery using ADB command

  1. First of all, install the ZTE Z970 ZMax USB Driver and ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your Windows computer.
  2. Now, enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing, go to Settings → About Phone and tap on Build Number about 7-10 times.
  3. Connect your device to computer and open Command Prompt (CMD).
  4. Now, enter the below command in CMD to boot ZTE Z970 ZMax into Recovery Mode.
    adb reboot recovery

Boot ZTE Z970 ZMax Download Mode

  1. Power off your Phone.
  2. Press and hold Volume Down + Volume Up and Power buttons together for a few seconds.ZTE Z970 ZMax Recovery Mode and Fastboot Mode
  3. Release the keys as soon as you see the ZTE logo and wait for few seconds.
  4. Now, your phone should boot into Download Mode.
  5. To exit the Download Mode, press and hold the Power button until the device reboots.

Boot ZTE Z970 ZMax FTM Mode

  1. First of all, power off your phone.
  2. Now, press and hold the Volume Down and Power button together for a few seconds.ZTE Z970 ZMax Recovery Mode and Fastboot Mode
  3. Release the keys as soon as you see the FTM Mode on your phone screen.
  4. Now, your phone is booted into FTM Mode.
